Virtual PBX customers can get early 855 Toll-Free Numbers

Virtual PBX sent out the following notice to us recently:

“On October 2, 2010, the FCC will release the new 855 toll-free numbers. Virtual PBX has direct access to the nationwide toll-free database and we want to give you and your customers the ability to get in line early for these new 855 numbers.

As a Virtual PBX customer, the first 25 lookup requests are free. After that, the cost will be $2 per lookup request. If you have more than 50 lookup requests, the Virtual PBX Porting Department will reply with a price quote.

On October 2, Virtual PBX will try to reserve the requested 855 numbers. Customers will only be charged the normal $25 vanity number fee for each successful number reservation – considerably less than other toll-free sites that are charging $50 – $500!
